Know Dementia Know Alzheimers

The brief: This was to partner a prominent brand with a social/environmental cause and create a cohesive marketing campaign across multiple platforms.

Brainstorming and Brand Selection

While brainstorming, I looked for brands with broad appeal and personal relevance. Canon's visual storytelling and Alzheimer's Disease International's personal significance, influenced by my grandmother's struggle with the disease, made them ideal choices. Their shared use of red, symbolising passion and significance, added depth to the campaign's narrative.
Print Campaign

The print campaign featured a diverse range of merchandise including T-shirts, mugs, and tote bags, each adorned with the campaign's distinctive imagery and messaging. Additionally, traditional advertising mediums such as bus stop billboards and posters were strategically created to maximise visibility and engagement within the community and spread awareness.
Podcast

I created and produced podcast visuals featuring Will Poulter, strategically leveraging his substantial following and sincere support for the cause. This collaboration aimed to amplify our message, tapping into his engaged audience to broaden the reach and impact of the campaign.
Social Media

I carefully curated and crafted compelling social media posts aimed at sparking conversations and raising awareness about Alzheimer's. Leveraging captivating visuals and impactful messaging, the posts aimed to engage audiences and drive meaningful interaction.
App Design

I led the design and development of the "Canon Cares" mobile app, focusing on intuitive user experience and seamless integration with Canon's brand identity. The app served as a platform for users to engage with the campaign, make donations, and access resources related to Alzheimer's Disease International.
Reflection and Success

Reflecting on the campaign, I'm proud of its 360-degree approach, seamlessly blending print and digital elements for maximum impact, all while leveraging Canon's brand power. This holistic strategy effectively raised awareness of Alzheimer's, fostering increased engagement and making meaningful contributions to Alzheimer's Disease International.
